Tabish Rizvi heads up the
firm’s capital markets group and primarily focuses on
the capital formation (both debt and equity financing) for the
firm's principal investments located domestically and internationally.
Mr. Rizvi has broad experience
in corporate finance and management consulting and has been
affiliated with the real estate industry for several years in
a variety of different capacities. His attractive background
is a unique consequence of having strategically advised clients
as both a management consultant and an investment banker. Prior
to launching Henna, Mr. Rizvi was an Associate in Deutsche Bank’s
Real Estate Investment Banking Group, where he advised corporate
clients on mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts, and
various other financial transactions, including a USD $13 billion
strategic separation of a global hospitality conglomerate into
three lines of business. Additionally, Mr. Rizvi possesses a
significant amount of capital markets experience derived from
his strategic evaluation and execution of new businesses and
financial products on behalf of Goldman Sachs, HypoVereinsbank,
Capco, and Merrill Lynch. He also helped raise USD $80 million
in mezzanine funding from Thomas Weisel Partners for Capco’s
second round capital infusion, which the company used to support
ongoing operations.
Mr. Rizvi, who lives in
New York City, earned his Master of Business Administration
(M.B.A.) in Real Estate Finance from the Columbia Business School
(New York, NY) and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Economics
with Concentrations in Finance and Management from The Wharton
School at the University of Pennsylvania (Philadelphia, PA).
A licensed real estate broker in the State of New York, Mr.
Rizvi is also a candidate for the Chartered Financial Analyst®
(C.F.A.) designation, which is a globally recognized standard
used for acknowledging the competence and integrity of investment
professionals.
